Welcome to Barbara's Sketch Book and Photo Album!

At last! My own personal place to show off my work and speak my mind. This is like a giant refrigerator for me, where I can paste up my daily sketches. No, they are not great sketches, but to me they are memorable. I'm a student artist. This blogspot will be my incentive to keep working and growing in my fine art skills. My goal is to post daily, or almost daily sketches. Sometimes I may post small format paintings or even larger works. My best work is in pastel portraits, but you won't see many of them here. When I get lazy with sketching, I will probably be out snapping pictures for possible photo reference. I aim for good composition as well as interesting content in my snapshots. You will probably see a lot of these. So welcome to my page! I hope you will come back often.
