Thursday, September 24, 2009Who has time for art? Today Dan and I drove south on Highway 84 to circle Ryer Island and tour Snug Harbor. At the southern end of Ryer Island, we took the ferry across Cashe Slough and drove into Rio Vista for lunch. We enjoyed following Cashe Slough back up Ryer Island then turning off on a small dirt levee road along Miner Slough and then Sutter Slough to get a little bit lost for awhile before heading back home. We enjoy all the agriculture, among other things, in the Sacramento River Delta.
