Independence Trail Wildflowers

Perhaps the most common plant where wildflowers like to hide is poison oak.
I don't know the names of most of these beauties, but they are only a sampling of the many varieties of wildflowers we saw today. Most are different than what we saw last week, too.








This one is a broom plant, according to Rebecca. Seems that is a problem in Washington state - too abundant.
