Sketch at Restaurant with Ballpoint Pen
Date Unknown - Fall 2007?
One should always carry a sketchbook, for one never knows when the urge to sketch might strike. This quick sketch of a restaurant centerpiece was drawn in a small note book with the only instrument available, a ball point pen. I just learned another new tidbit of information: a shock can be a bundle or mass of something, in this case, wheat. I would love to find an old fashioned corn shock to draw. Maybe I can enlist my brother to photograph one for me next fall in Amish country.
