This little painting was done mostly as an experiment to learn more about using Dr. Ph. Martin's Hydrus Liquid Watercolors - this time on Yupo paper. I'm not very experienced with Yupo (a glossy plastic paper) and it's properties. Layering on the paper doesn't work very well. Next time I will mix colors on the palette rather than on the paper. That look that I call "swimmy" is a property of watercolor on Yupo. The paper doesn't absorb the watercolor, so it floats on the surface until it is dry.
