We had some nice weather today and not much to do, so Dan and I took a long drive to gold country in the foothills. The little town of Murphys was our target. They were having a busy "Passport Day" for the wineries, so it was crowded. We didn't let that stop our good time. We ate lunch at the historic Murphys Hotel, then walked up and down Main Street looking at the shops along the way. Here are random pictures.
