Angel Island Part 2 - June 25, 2009

Return to Angel Island
Our first trip to the island was shortened because we missed the early ferry. This time we started on time, catching the 9:00 a.m. ferry. We lingered until the last ferry left the island at 3:30.
Leaving home, the temperature was heading up, planning to hit around 100 degrees. The island was a welcome foggy cool with temperatures probably in the 60s.
We hiked the entire five mile loop around the island and added side trips to see various clusters of buildings. The pictures below include highlights from our walk.
Enjoy.
