June 4, 2009 - One hike wasn't enough in the lovely woodlands of northern Indiana. After leaving McClue Nature Preserve, we drove down the road a short distance to find the 160 acre Wing Haven Reserve on Gentian Lake.

One trail went to the lake, while another led down some woodens stairs to a ravine with a creek meandering through. Near the entrance of the park were recreated copies of a tee pee and a log cabin homestead with barn. Thoroughly enjoyable in the pleasant weather. Below are scenes from around the preserve.
