The City of Elkhart may have one of the nation's highest unemployment rates, but they also have a wonderful amount of civic pride. During our visit, we particularly enjoyed the River Walk and the Elkhart Heritage Trail through their Amish country where Amish Quilt Gardens (of flowers) are displayed along the route. I'll devote another entry to the tour through Amish country.
