August 13, 2009 at 4:30 a.m.One of the "perks" of an economy rate motel is having a private balcony overlooking a restaurant's trash cans! Oh, and it helps to have no air conditioning in the room. Otherwise, I might not have had my balcony window open at 4:30 a.m. to hear the trash cans rattle. This guy was so bold - just lumbering along, moving from one restaurant's trash cans to another. I didn't have time to adjust my camera to a night setting, so I manually adjusted the picture above the best I could to show my bear sighting picture.
